La Galería Adopts a New, Colorful and Festive Look in May
La Galería market once again paid tribute to the region it calls home, a region with inspired architecture and design and, most importantly, the delicious flavor of Andalusian dishes and recipes.
With the arrival of May came some of the most anticipated, colorful and lively of our beloved Andalusia celebrations. May Crosses, very typical of Granada and the courtyards of Cordoba, recently took place on our special street in the center of Fuengirola.
The May Crosses celebration took place between April 29th and May 1st, taking advantage of the weekend and Monday festive week. In honor of the special event, our market had its own corner and typical Cruz, filled with flowers and colors.
In order for the celebration to have the most Andalusian flavor possible, a tasting of fine wine from Jerez, courtesy of Uncle Pepe, was offered. We also counted on the help of a professional to slice ham, because we all know that the better the ham is cut, the better it tastes!
Cruzcampo Cruzial, one of the latest flavors of our favorite beer, was present at the event with a special promotion both at the crosses and the Cordoba-style patios. We also offered jars of rebujito to refresh our valued family at this recent colorful celebration.
